Business platform · Online reporting · High availability hosting
Multiple reporting processes, one shared platform
Since 2020, PartITech has supported the Centre Français d’exploitation du droit de Copie (CFC) in developing and operating its online reporting interfaces.
The aim: to offer institutions and organisations straightforward journeys tailored to their obligations, despite the diversity of contracts, uses and information to be submitted.
Today, PartITech develops enhancements, provides outsourced application maintenance and manages the high availability hosting platform that supports the service.
Symfony · Sonata · Doctrine · Twig

The client
Supporting the use of books and press content
The Centre Français d’exploitation du droit de Copie (CFC) collectively manages the rights to copy and redistribute book and press content. It grants permissions to businesses, public administrations, associations, educational institutions and training organisations, among others.
Depending on the scheme involved, organisations must submit very different information: headcounts, publications, subscriptions, press reviews, distribution volumes, external redistribution or references required for invoicing.
The challenge
Turning complex contractual rules into straightforward journeys
Each contract involves its own information, its own rules and sometimes its own reporting schedule.
An educational institution does not submit the same information as a business producing a press review or an organisation distributing content to external recipients.
The challenge was therefore to design a platform able to present each user with the right journey at the right time, while retaining consistent operation that CFC could administer.
Information collection also needed to be reliable: guiding data entry, reducing omissions, detecting certain inconsistencies and providing structured data for subsequent processing by CFC teams.
- Tailor the information requested to the contract and reporting period
- Maintain a consistent experience across schemes
- Guide those submitting reports and reduce omissions
- Collect structured data for CFC teams
- Develop the journeys and their operation over time
PartITech’s response
A shared foundation, with interfaces tailored to each contract
PartITech developed an online reporting platform that builds interfaces according to the type of contract associated with each organisation.
The solution uses a shared foundation and reusable business components. Contact details, headcounts, publications, press reviews, attachments and invoicing data are assembled to suit the required journey.
This approach allows CFC to offer several reporting processes within the same environment, while maintaining a consistent user experience. Since 2020, PartITech has also supported functional enhancements to the platform through its application maintenance service.
A shared application foundation
Symfony, Sonata, Doctrine and Twig bring the reporting processes together on one business platform.
Reusable components
Blocks for contact details, headcounts, publications or invoicing, assembled according to the contract.
Business configuration
Forms and reporting campaigns tailored to the information required by CFC.
Ongoing support
Enhancement development, application maintenance and high availability hosting management.
Business journeys
Journeys configurable to suit business needs
The back office allows forms to be adapted to each contract type: displayed fields, labels, help text, mandatory fields, step order, input rules and confirmation messages.
This configuration allows reporting campaigns to evolve without redesigning the entire system. When a new requirement goes beyond existing components, PartITech develops the additional business blocks or rules needed.
A guided experience, from login to submission
After authentication, the organisation accesses the reports corresponding to its account and the relevant period.
The journey can combine updating contact details, entering contract-specific information, adding publications or attachments, running consistency checks, then validating and submitting the report. Where the scheme provides for it, reports from previous periods remain accessible through this portal.
Built-in checks for reliable data collection
Contextual help and input checks guide the person submitting the report. Some checks apply to a single field, others to several related data items: whether an answer is present, whether a set is complete or whether a total matches its breakdown.
The aim is to identify the main anomalies before a report is submitted and make it easier for CFC to process.
A platform designed for very different reports
Several categories of business needs share the same foundation:
- Headcounts and quantitative data
- Print and digital press reviews
- Lists of publications and subscriptions
- External redistribution
- Uses relating to websites and social media
- Media monitoring providers
- File imports and attachments
- References required for invoicing, particularly for Chorus Pro
Depending on the case, users can enter information directly or import a structured file, allowing reporting to fit the practices of different organisations.

Maintenance and hosting
Ongoing operational support
Beyond data entry, the platform manages report statuses, processing dates and the generation of PDF documents or Excel files.
PartITech provides application maintenance to keep the service running and develop the journeys as CFC’s business needs evolve.
We also manage the high availability hosting platform that supports the application, aiming to maintain service continuity and control of the operating environment. This comprehensive support brings development, maintenance and operations together within one system.
Report tracking
Managing statuses and processing dates, and generating PDF or Excel documents.
Application maintenance and enhancements
Maintaining the application and adapting journeys to new business needs.
High availability hosting
Managing the platform supporting the service, with continuity as the goal.
A consistent system
Development and operations brought together through ongoing technical support.
The result
One platform for multiple reporting processes
CFC has an online reporting portal that can adapt its interfaces to different contracts and campaigns while using a shared architecture.
For reporting organisations, the information requested is contextualised according to their situation. For CFC, data is collected in a structured way and can be used in the processing associated with reports.
Form configuration, application maintenance and high availability hosting management allow the platform to evolve over time while keeping functional requirements and operational constraints aligned.
- Interfaces tailored to contracts and campaigns
- Guided journeys and consistency checks
- Structured data for CFC’s processing
- A configurable, maintained shared foundation
- Ongoing support since 2020
